Dear readers,

Forty months ago, I set out on the greater endeavor of producing, entirely in English, the first magazine specializing in the Peruvian Paso Horse. Soon I would be dedicating myself to this task full time after the success of the first number, having reached readers who love and admire our horse; informed, experienced people who found in the magazine a good companion. Many letters reached us from all over with suggestions, which we followed up: the next two issues were in spanish and english.

The magazine also reached Central America with its beautiful nations bounded by two oceans and its pleasantly warm climate.

We couldn't let the opportunity go by and last September we went to El Salvador, a lovely country with friendly people, fine ranches, a very good quality of horses and famous hospitality. Both our wonderful hosts, the Kriete, and other breeders we visited exhibit their excellent horses with pride.

We have many new themes in this number with breeders of the USA, El Salvador and Peru present in our pages.
To all of them, a warm welcome and our sincere thanks.
