When this issue gets into the hands of our readers, the Lurín Championship Show will be celebrating, which will, as usual, the presence of the  enthusiast fans every time increasingly assertive of breeders and followers of our Paso Horse, that with the sharp and accurate view of the judges of the contest, dapper this noble tradition.

As in previous editions, Fernando J. Ribotta, from Argentina, gives us an interesting article, this time to describe a clinical case of equine metatarsal fracture and its successful solution showing plenty of graphic information.

Aníbal Vásquez de las Casas, aware of the growing trend for the upbringing of our noble horse, comments and advises widely on what the new breeders should consider the success of training and development of these tradition actions so deeply rooted  in our country .

Genetics, so relevant today, is also present in the remarkable article prepared by the veterinary Mirella Tomatis, information which will, indeed, be very useful for the preservation and enhancement of this so Peruvian horse breed.

We could not miss in this issue refer to our traditional pisco, this time to publish the recipe based on pisco and pineapple, updated by Alberto Salaverry Freundt  in an attempt to publicize the development of "pisco punch", famous in San Francisco since the mid-of the XIX century.

Our special greetings to the hardworking organizers of the competition of Lurin and the one of San Pedro de Mala on its success that certainly will continue with their remarkable efforts.
