This edition carries my greetings to the breeders, exhibitors and all participants of the 63rd Peruvian National Show who always give that special sparkle to events which like this one are carried out keeping alive the so Peruvian and traditional afición. Once again, friends who get together every year in very special circumstances to support and admire our breed of equines, the pride of Peru.

This time we are offering you comments referring to veterinary and the care of our horse as well as articles on bulls and Creole cuisine, following the line of information on topics always highly welcomed by the aficionados. There is also the note covering the results of the Lurín Show. I hope all this may be to the liking of the readers whom I thank with great energy and special affection, assuring you once again that this, your magazine, will always have its pages open for your opinions and ideas.

To my friends: Fernando Ribotta, Mirko Costa, Rossana Figuerola, Roxanna Salaverry and José Miguel Rivas, who are always supporting the improvements of “Made in Peru” with their afición, concern and unselfish help, my deepest thanks.

This edition is especially dedicated to the memory of Don Guillermo More Alva, dear friend and great exponent of the afición.
