Dear readers,
The issue always following to that of the National Show is eagerly awaited for by many of you due to the arduous research carried out by Roque Benavides in the article on Blood Lines of the Peruvian Paso Horse, and who is always collaborating with us unconditionally. Additional to this you will find an article by Raúl Risso that he kindly sent us from the U.S. and also one by the always-present and loyal friend, Mirko Costa. To all three of them, my most sincere thanks because they are always supporting this magazine which belongs also to all of you.
At the end we always have the results of the most recent shows and always close with the delicious touch of flavor of the Peruvian cuisine of our dear friend Roxanna Salaverry, whom I must thank not only for the delicious recipes she shares with us but also for her creative photos of each one of the dishes.
Always adding color to our magazine are the different breeding ranches and their beautiful horses as Peruvian as the companies who support us and take pride in this noble animal.
I dedicate this 31st edition in memory of a great friend, a winner and gentleman on horses, who had faith in this magazine since when it was only a project and supported us with great enthusiasm without ever a doubt of the ensuing success.
Olaf Hein...impossible to forget your affection for this breed and your kindness towards all people.
