Today we are enjoying of the 59th National Show, with absolute certainty the country's most important show. We count with the always welcome participation of connoisseurs from abroad and a great number of local exhibitors. To all of them, our warmest greetings.

This N 23 Edition has been prepared with special dedication. In it have been molded years of tenacity helping in the diffusion of the extraordinary horse breed, pride of all Peruvians, the result of the dedicated work developed by the Peruvian breeders and promoted by the extraordinary ever-increasing “aficion” worldwide. As in all preceding editions, we offer you our specialized articles on the breeding of our horse, and this time, with much more pages and illustrations, always trying to promote its discussion and diffusion.

This magazine takes pride in having being born and to continue  working hard with the collaboration of friends like Fernando Ribotta, a veterinarian from Salta, always willing to share with us his wisdom, he informs us and gives us advice on the “cólico” in horses; Marco Dapelo, son of the great  “maestro” in bit training Pepe Dapelo, who nourishes us with information with the first part of “Training of the Peruvian Paso Horse”, valuable contribution sent in from Texas specially for this Edition; like Domingo Delgiudice, who this time treats us with “A Gentleman's Agreement”, an article which with its remembrances and anecdotes reaches our hearts.

Felipe Thorndike, loyal friend and active judge who hitherto has judged at the greatest number of National Shows in Peru: “5”, writes for us “Qualified Judging” by way of proposal and presents us with a very interesting “Evaluation Sheet for Peruvian Paso Horses”. Without doubt this edition brings more.  And this is only an advance.

We invite you now to read its contents and to enjoy of the photos of the beautiful horses that fill our pages with color and happiness.
A very special greeting and acknowledgement to our ever-loyal sponsors, solid foundations of  “Made in Peru”.
